  1. Take 1 kg mutton clean & washed
  2. Make ready 2 cups curd
  3. Take 1 box tomato puree
  4. Take 1 tbsp brown onion paste
  5. Prepare to taste Salt
  6. Make ready 3-4 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  7. Get 2 tsp haldi powder
  8. Make ready 3 tsp Dhaniya powder
  9. Get 2 tbsp garam masala powder
  10. Make ready 2 tsp red chilli powder
  11. Get 1 cup chopped mint coriander leaves
  12. Make ready 1 tsp kasoori methi powder
  13. Take 2-3 tbsp fresh cream
  14. Get 3-4 bay leaves
  15. Make ready 5-6 tbsp oil
  16. Get 2 tbsp ghee
Instructions to make Mutton Korma:
  1. In a pressure cooker add the mutton pieces, salt, 1 tspn haldi, 1 tspn ginger-garlic paste, 1 tspn dhaniya powder, 1 tspn garam masala powder & 3-4 cups water. Cook til 5-6 whistles or until mutton is tender & cooked.
  2. Blend together curd, tomato puree, fresh cream, onion paste until smooth.
  3. Heat oil in a kadhai/big vessel. Add bay leaves & let it splutter. Add the remaining ginger garlic paste, masalas & cook for few seconds. Add the tomato curd paste & 3-4 tbsp water. Cook for 6-7 minutes or until oil floats on top.
  4. Add the boiled mutton to the simmering gravy. Mix well & cover with lid. Let it cook for few more minutes. Add kasoori methi, Mint coriander leaves & ghee. Turn off the flame.
  5. Serve hot with bread,naan or steamed rice.
