The ingredients needed to make Tropical muesli slice:
  1. Make ready 125 g butter
  2. Prepare 2 tbsp rice malt syrup/agave or honey
  3. Get 1 1/2 cups old fashioned rolled oats
  4. Prepare 1/2 cup self rasing flour
  5. Take 155 g chopped tropical fruit (dried mango and pineapple) also add nuts if you like
  6. Prepare 1/3 cup desiccated coconut
  7. Take 1/3 firmly packed brown sugar
Instructions to make Tropical muesli slice:
  1. Preheat oven to 160 degrees Celsius.
  2. Grease and line a rectangular baking tray 20cm x 30cm with baking paper and set aside.
  3. Stir chopped butter, sugar and honey in a large saucepan over low heat until sugar dissolves. Do not stop stiring until dissolved.
  4. Remove from heat and add the remaining ingredients.
  5. Press mixture into prepared pan.
  6. Bake for 40 minutes or until lightly golden
  7. Cool completely in pan before removing. Slice and enjoy. Store in an airtight container in the cupboard.
