  13. Get 400 ml instant coconut milk
  14. Prepare 1 Tbsp fish sauce
  15. Prepare 3 Tbsp celery, roughly chopped
  16. Take 1 lime ( if desired ), juiced
  17. Take 2 Tbsp rebon (ebi, small dried shrimp ), fried briefly
  18. Make ready Water as needed
  19. Prepare Oil for frying

Heat oil in a wok or large frying pan over high heat. Add the tempeh, curry paste, and coconut milk, stirring well to dissolve. Tempeh or tempe is a traditional Indonesian soy product that is made from fermented soybeans. It is made by a natural culturing and controlled fermentation process that binds soybeans into a cake form.

Steps to make TEMPEH CURRY WITH VEGETABLES (Kare Tempe Sayuran):
  1. Grease tempeh with sesame oil and grill tempeh to brown evenly on all sides. Remove, let cool. Dice into 2½ cm pieces and set aside.
