Simple Way to Prepare Homemade Samosa Chaat

Hey everyone, hope you are having an incredible day today. Today, we’re going to prepare a distinctive dish, samosa chaat. One of my favorites food recipes. For mine, I’m gonna make it a bit unique. This is gonna smell and look delicious.

Samosa chaat is a lip-smacking chaat made with samosa, chickpea curry, various chutneys and spices. This Samosa Chaat is a another popular Indian chaat where samosa is served with chole (chickpea curry). Chaat is a broad term used for all Indian street food. It's mostly spicy, tangy and topped with yogurt and chutneys.

Samosa Chaat is one of the most popular of current trending foods on earth. It’s enjoyed by millions every day. It’s simple, it’s fast, it tastes delicious. Samosa Chaat is something that I’ve loved my whole life. They are fine and they look wonderful.

To get started with this recipe, we have to prepare a few ingredients. You can have samosa chaat using 29 ingredients and 8 steps. Here is how you cook it.

The ingredients needed to make Samosa Chaat:
  1. Prepare Chana
  2. Get 1 can white chickpeas
  3. Prepare Half cup onion
  4. Take 3 chillies (add more for extra spiceness)
  5. Take Cut small tomatoes (optional)
  6. Prepare Bunch coriander chopped
  7. Take 2 pinches salt
  8. Get 1/2 tsp Cumin powder
  9. Get 1/2 tsp curry powder
  10. Get 1/2 tsp chilli powder
  11. Get 1/2 tsp masala mix
  12. Get Vegetable oil for cooking
  13. Prepare Tamarind Sauce (if making from scratch)
  14. Make ready Bunch natural tamarind
  15. Take Boil water
  16. Take Pinch salt
  17. Prepare Curd
  18. Get 3 tbs yoghurt
  19. Make ready 1 tsp sugar (alter to taste for extra sweetness)
  20. Take Extra
  21. Prepare Fried samosas
  22. Get Fry plain samosa pads
  23. Prepare Sev (sanasur)
  24. Get Bit of lemon juice
  25. Get Note:
  26. Take Steps 1-4 are for the chana
  27. Get Step 5 is making tamarind sauce (if needed, it’s easier to buy from store)
  28. Make ready Step 6 is curd sauce
  29. Take Step 7-8 is assembling all

It was just yummy and filled our stomach and satiated our taste buds. Put a portion of the prepared chole evenly over it. Finally sprinkle the coriander evenly on it. SAMOSA CHAAT A variation of the much popular chaat as the taste of our Samosa crush marries the piping hot Choley gravy.

Instructions to make Samosa Chaat:
  1. Heat 2tbs oil in a pan. Add onions and chillies. Add to pan and allow to sauté for few minutes
  2. Add washed chickpeas and mix nicely. After this add your tomatoes (optional) and cook.
  3. After mixing add spices listed in ingredients and mix well. Add little bit of water and allow to simmer.
  4. Make sure your samosas have been fried at this point and cut them in small pieces (Does not need to be precise) and add them in the pan, and mix a bit until cooked
  5. For the tamarind sauce, get a bunch of tamarind and soak in boiling water for 5 mins. This will allow the seeds to be removed and drain the liquids out to give the tangy taste. Sieve and remove any hard bits. Add pinch of salt and mix.
  6. For the curd, get 3 tbs of youghurt and 1 tbs sugar (i used 1.5 tbs of sugar for extra sweetness). Use the ratio 3:1 tbs for youghurt : sugar. Mix nicely.
  7. Once steps 1-6 are done, grab a plate / bowl of your choice. Add your desired amount of cooked chickpeas on the plate, followed by broken FRIED samosa pads. Then, add your desired amount of tamarind sauce (tangy flavour) and curd (very sweet). Alter to taste and liking. You can always add more after
  8. Top with a bit of chopped onions, chopped coriander, extra chillies, bit of lemon juice and the sev (sanasur). It is now ready to serve! Enjoy with a cold drink or cup of masala chai.

Finally sprinkle the coriander evenly on it. SAMOSA CHAAT A variation of the much popular chaat as the taste of our Samosa crush marries the piping hot Choley gravy. Served with a generous topping of green chutney and sev to make it that much more exciting and memorable. Its a thing, and it's something you need in your life immediately.
