This Thai fried rice is called American fried rice (Khao Pad American) in Thailand, because it uses ingredients that are considered American, like ketchup and bacon. It is very popular in Thailand and easy to make. All ingredients should be prepped in advance cause once you start frying the rice, it goes fast. Fried rice is a quick and delicious way to transform leftovers into something delicious!

The ingredients needed to make Fried rice:
  1. Get 1 cup cooked rice
  2. Get 3 whole eggs
  3. Prepare 2 sliced chicken sausage
  4. Prepare 4 sliced chicken salami
  5. Prepare 100 gr boiled green beans
  6. Make ready 50 gr boiled green peas
  7. Get 1 tsp grated ginger
  8. Take 1 tbsp chopped onion
  9. Make ready 1 tsp salt
  10. Take 1/4 tsp pepper
  11. Get 2 tbsp cooking oil

For this recipe, the older and drier the rice the better. Remove from skillet and set aside. Fried rice is one of those recipes we find sesame oil really enhances. If you don't want to use sesame, a neutral oil like vegetable is best.

Steps to make Fried rice:
  1. Prepare the ingredients.
  2. In a pan, heat 1 tbsp oil and pan fry the chicken sausage until well cooked. Stir fry the chicken salami to give a bit hint of flavor. Transfer it out to the plate.
  3. In a pan/pot. Heat 2 tbsp cooking oil. Add the chopped onion and grated ginger. Stir fry it for 1 minutes.
  4. Crack the 3 eggs to the pan. I make scrambled eggs. You can choose any eggs that you like. If you love fried eggs, you may do it afterward.
  5. Add the boiled green beans and green peas. Stir fry it for 2 minutes with the eggs.
  6. Add the cooked rice. Mix it well. Add the seasonings.
  7. Add little oil if it is too dry. Add the cooked sausage and salami. Mix them well.
  8. Give a taste. Serve it warm.
