  9. Unroll the cake and spread the cream on. Carefully roll back up

  11. Scatter with unsifted icing sugar to resemble snow

Chill for at least an hour before serving. Place log on a parchment-lined sheet pan. Apply some buttercream to the angled slice and attach it to one side.
