The ingredients needed to make Low Carb Cauliflower Pizza Base:
  1. Get 400 g Head of Fresh Cauliflower
  2. Prepare 50 g Coconut Flour
  3. Make ready 2 Eggs
  4. Prepare 50 g Fine Grated Cheddar
  5. Make ready 1/2 tsp Salt
  6. Prepare 1/2 tsp Pepper
Steps to make Low Carb Cauliflower Pizza Base:
  1. Steam the Cauliflower until soft but not soggy!
  2. Remove the Cauliflower from the steamer and allow to cool for 15 mins and evaporate some steam.
  3. Whizz up the Cauliflower in a food processor.
  4. Place the Cauliflower in a muslin cloth or seive and strain away as much moisture as you can then place in a mixing bowl.
  5. Beat the eggs and add to the Cauliflower along with all the other ingredients. Mix until fully combined. (You can add plain protein powder at this point if you wish; reduce coconut flour accordingly).
  6. Split the mix into 2 (for 2 pizzas approx 9-10") or 4 for 4 smaller pizzas (5-6").
  7. The consistency will not allow for rolling or shaping….. to shape the 'dough' you will need to place it on a pan (on greaseproof paper and 'push' it into shape.
  8. Place in the oven (180c) for 8-10 mins on each side or until firm. It should flip well without breaking.
  9. Remove and cool, add your choice of topping and return to oven for a further 8-10 mins
