The ingredients needed to make Spicy Peanut Rice Cake:
  1. Prepare long grain rice
  2. Make ready red chilli sauce
  3. Get Fish sauce
  4. Take turmeric powder
  5. Make ready ginger coarsely crushed
  6. Prepare garlic pods crushed
  7. Take coriander leaves chopped fine
  8. Prepare peanuts chopped
  9. Make ready Oil to fry
  10. Make ready Salt
Steps to make Spicy Peanut Rice Cake:
  1. Cook the rice and have it soft. Drain and set aside. In either a mortar & pestle or blender add turmeric powder, coarsely crushed ginger and garlic. Blend. Add salt, chopped coriander leaves, fish sauce, red chilli sauce, 1 Tbsp rice and blend until sticky
  2. Add the whole mixture to the rest of the rice and mix very well. Make balls and set aside
  3. On a bowl have the chopped peanuts and take the balls to add to the peanuts to coat and set aside
  4. In a wok heat oil and on medium flame fry the rice balls in batches.
  5. Plate and enjoy as a starter or snack
