My children have inherited my husband's love of chocolate and continue to request chocolate cake with this particular chocolate frosting. Super easy to make, very forgiving, no stand mixer or beater.
Instructions to make Super Easy Chocolate Cake:
- Preheat the oven to 180°C. Line the base of a cake tin with baking paper and grease the sides.
- In a large bowl, mix and shift all dry ingredients well. Add wet ingredients and mix very well until the texture is like chocolate mousse.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared cake tin and bake for 50 to 60 minutes. Stand for 5 minutes before turning out onto a wire rack to cool.
